Midwinter Break for Syntagma Media Blog NetworkRoyal Anecdotes is closing down for 7 days and will be back on Wednesday 28th. Urgent enquiries should be addressed to the email given in the sidebar. All Syntagma Media blogs will be post-free until the same date. Some maintenance and enhancements will be carried out during this period, and our 9th blog, Vista Office, will be launched on the 28th. In the meantime, have a very merry Christmas, Winter Solstice (Thursday), or whichever festival you celebrate at this time of year. John Evans Do you have a view? 4 Comments
Syntagma Media News
Syntagma Media’s “Paranormal Watch” blog has been renamed “Supernatural“. This is because of all the blogs in the SynMed stable, it was not forging ahead strongly. We felt the name was wrong, maybe too scientific for the subject matter, and so the change was made. Please visit if you like to be scared witless [Slight exaggeration]. We have also launched a new blog, Make The World Better, our 8th. MWB is a nonprofit, collaborative voice for making the world a better place. Anyone can post, provided they have a sensible idea, are not offensive, and can put a sentence or two together. If you would like to contribute to our Christmas week launch, just send a post to: John (at) SyntagmaMedia (dot) com. Our 7th blog has also gone live: Tertiary Blogging. This is about blogging for influence, reputation and income. It has a new sidebar feature dedicated to jobs for tertiary bloggers. There’s also a call for contributions to the Writers’ Blog Alliance anthology for 2005. Thanks for your attention. Do you have a view? Leave a Comment
New Prince of Denmark
Denmark has a new Prince, who is second in line to the throne and expected to be named Christian. Royal Watch News reports: “The baby has captivated the Danish public since he was born in October. As soon as Princess Mary was admitted to Copenhagen University Hospital crowds started gathering outside in the hope of catching a glimpse of the baby. Many members of the public took to the streets to celebrate after hearing the country’s newest prince had been born.” The baby will be christened at Christiansborg Palace church in January.
