Coni--thanks for your concern! My daughter and I were lucky to get seats on the 10AM flight out of DC, which we heard was the last flight out because they are closing the airports again in anticipation of an additional 10-20 inches of new snow, due this evening, on top of the two feet of snow that still has not been cleared away in DC or the suburbs! We had a harrowing trip to the airport this morning at 7AM-- roads clogged with snow and very icy roadway. We feel very fortunate to be back home in Texas, where, however, we have temps in the 30s which are going lower tonight and we expect a sleet storm. Mother Nature has truly gone 'round the bend this time. Her mental process baffles me! Why cannot the snow fall in Vancouver, where the Olympic Committee members are desperately praying for it, instead of in the Eastern Seaboard states, where there are no budgets nor services in place to cope with such accumulations of snow?!

Thanks for the suggestions! I would take a trip to my local bookstore, but I'm snowed in my apartment in DC. Perhaps I'll have luck with amazon... or not. Bleh.

I hope you made it out, Gigi. There's a mass exodus out of here in light of more snow coming. I'm considering a trip back home to Kansas just to get out of this!

I hope everyone is having a great week and your tea stays warm.

Cheers.
