The press needed a quid pro quo so the old ploy of the promise of a biggie at a later date, plus documentary-type footage for the TV stations, was put in place. It was the only way Harry could get out of the country.

He was spirited in by the SAS, and I’m sure he has now been spirited out, whatever the MoD says : “We are considering the future of his deployment” is the gist of it. Huh! they will already have had a contingency plan.
