Stars say make or break for Kate Middleton

We recently did a short piece on astrologer Jonathan Cainer’s apocalyptic forecast for the Royal Family in 2008.

Now here’s another starry prediction for the relationship of Prince William and Kate Middleton. It’s by British astrologer Dharmaruci :

“Certainly with Prince William the transits to his natal chart suggest, actually insist, it is soon to be make or break time with Kate Middleton.”

Oh dear, how often have we who follow these things heard that? But let’s wait and see.

I was also going to do an assessment of my own intuitive forecasts for Royal events for 2007, but they are so dismal, I’ll leave you to look them up here for yourselves.

  1. John, does it seem to you that for a Royal wedding scheduled for May, we are hearing very few details of plans and fetes thus far? I have decided that, with tea to sustain me, I can live through 2008 without a Royal engagement announcement for Prince William and Kate, but only…only if we are privy to all the glossy plans and details of the May wedding of Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly. Whom do we have to know to get this wedding information, have you any idea?

As for your predictions, you do very well, in my opinion. Even the best crystal ball gets a bit fogged over at times. :)

  2. Gigi, I read yesterday in the Telegraph “Spy” column that someone with inside knowledge says that Peter & Autumn will be married in St George’s Chapel at Windsor. It holds about 800 guests. Autumn is having a beautiful gown designed for her; “The Autumn” will be available for others to purchase, so we should eventually get lots of details on the dress.

  3. Thanks so much, Evelyn!! So I guess that the story about the wedding venue being switched to Craithie Kirk at Balmoral was not accurate. I am just as pleased that the wedding will be held in the Chapel at Windsor, however, as it is a very beautiful setting and holds far more people. I am assuming that in this event, the reception or wedding breakfast would be held at breathtakingly beautiful Windsor Castle. It all sounds wonderful! The merry buds of May will be in full bloom, too, if the weather cooperates.

  4. Yes it will be a beautiful day. I can’t wait to see everybody there, even Kate. Kate is holding up pretty well since William left for RAF. Kate is very patient and she knows that the future is bright and worth waiting for.

  5. The only information we know for certain is that it is going to be an Autumn wedding. ;)

  6. HERE WE GO AGAIN !!!!! Every astrogoler has his/her own interpretation of the stars. As far as I’m concerned stars or no stars W&K will do what they feel is best for them.

  7. My dear Arthur, Autumn and Peter are marrying in Spring, which is almost poetic! :)

  8. I certainly hope their children won’t be Spring, Summer, and Winter.

  9. I think the Royal Family has had its dose of astrology, as have we all.

This shtick is so Nancy Reagan 1988. For Kate’s sake, I hope her public will be more sophisticated.

  10. Gigi, my comment was meant to be a play on words. Obviously, it didn’t work. (: If the happy couple decides to marry in the month of May, it will still be an Autumn (the bride’s name) wedding.

  11. LOL! It worked! I got it, Arthur, I was trying to add to your witty remarks! Guess mine failed miserably. :) Cute comment, Evelyn!

  12. Gigi, I suppose I should leave comedy to the professionals. ;)

Evelyn, Peter and Autumn could always pay homage to Howdy Doody and name their daughter Princess Summerfall Winterspring! :)

  13. HA!!! I loved that show and I still have my painted cardboard puppets of the characters of the Howdy Doody Show–Howdy Doody, Mr. Bluster, Princess Summerfall Winterspring, Flubbadub and one of Buffalo Bob Smith!

  14. Actually, Gigi, most of my predictions for 2007 could come true in 2008, so maybe my cloudy crystal ball was a year out. ;)

I did get Harry’s Army career spot on though, even if Royal Anecdotes had to personally intervene with the Chief of the General Staff to get him pulled from Iraq deployment. I suppose that’s outside the rules of the game though. If every astrologer or seer lobbied the authorities to make their forecasts come true, the planetary deities might be a bit miffed. :)

  15. With all these predictions, astrologies and sooths being said the one comment that I, as an incurable romantic, would like to see would be Claudius’-that Kate would get an invitation to A and P’s wedding.
‘Claudius’ sounds like a roman soothsayer!

  16. “The Ides of March have come.” “Aye, Caesar, but not gone.” :) Sorry, I just had to quote a Roman soothsayer! I agree with Royalist and Claudius and would also, as an incurable romantic, be delighted to see Kate attend Peter and Autumn’s wedding in May. In fact, I am hoping for a chapel packed to the rafters with beautifully garbed Royals, heavenly music, ethereal floral arrangements and all the pomp and circumstance that can possibly be procured!

  17. Anyone see latest on William on the cover of the Daily Mail

    William out with Mystery Blonde.
He’s holding her hand, dancing it appears.

    It’s on the latest issue.

  18. The pictures are from September 2005. Some of them were published around the time. This is a bit lame by the Daily Mail.

  19. Now The Express
    The SUN
and The Daily Mail all are showing the photos. Wonder why they chose to show these now and I doubt they just got the photos, since they are two years old. Why did the press sit on them for two years. When was the last time William and Kate have been seen together anywhere, was it last year? I hope all is well.

  20. I also thing it is a bit misleading since they do not caption the photos with the date. What are they up to anyway?! This is what comes of not drinking enough hot tea. I fear the Daily Mail has been derelict of tea time duties! :) Now they are in a hopeless muddle of their own making.

  21. The photos are in The Express
The SUN as well as the Daily Mail.
    .

  22. I really can’t understand why the Daily Mail published two which are over two years old of Prince William. I noticed they have also published photographs of one of his ex girlfriends who he first dated when he started university, who was previously unknown and tried to create drama by saying that Kate and the girl became enemies when William started dating Kate. I think the term enemies of progress comes to mind…… I guess because William is in training and Kate seems to be very under the radar the moment they have decided to dig up any dirt they can. It’s just awful really…. It really is going to be a long year if they keep this up.

  23. Sunday MIRROR
Prince William and Kate Middleton on the rocks - again!
    EXCLUSIVE One date since Xmas
Pr. William and Kate Middleton’s romance is drifting to an end, according to close friends.

The couple have have met just once since Christmas and the passion on William’s side of the relationship is “evaporating”, they claim.

    It is on todays paper

  24. The Sunday Mirror — along with the Express — is not the most reliable of newspapers. It’s basically anti-Royal and uses any scrap of gossip to put the boot in.

  25. There are quotes from a Courtier in the article, Must face reality, William has not been seen with Kate since near Christmas. The Mirror was the paper Kate called the PCCommision on, I doubt they would print the story about “Kate and William being on the Rocks”, without having sources, now.

  26. I notice the Daily Mail seems anti-Royal, too, not to mention anti-Kate. They carried both the dancing blonde photos and the “first girlfriend” story. I chalked it up as an attempt to sow seeds of doubt in Kate’s mind: “See how he acts when you’re not around,” even though it was two years ago.

I thought the young girl in the photo with William and the blonde was just another wedding attendee.

  27. Melissa, the Daily Mail generally supports the Monarchy, especially the Queen. However, it likes to be sparky and occasionally publishes stories that seem anti-Royal, but which are just judgmental of a particular action or person. Christopher Wilson’s article on Saturday was particularly waspish. No change there, then. ;)

  28. Every Daily Mail article I’ve read with regard to the Royals has had a subtle sarcastic tone except when it comes to those about the Queen. It is in keeping with the sarcastic, unflattering tone they convey in most of their articles about any famous person. If they are not anti-Royal, as you say, then they are definitely judgmental when it comes to them all. If being judgmental to a fault is not “anti” something, then so be it. You are, of course, always right, John. What we do if we you weren’t here to “correct” everything that we say? :)

  29. Well, Melissa, I’ve been reading the Daily Mail for years and I know their editorial policy. The editorials are generally supportive of the Monarchy, except when someone clearly does something wrong. As a moralistic paper they tend to come down a bit on Harry and William’s nightclub sprees, for example, and some individual writers are worse than others. They do provide good coverage of the Royal scene though.

  30. US, The People article is quoting a conversation with William from this time last year. They all seem to have mixed up sources.

    But, we will see.

  31. Just because Kate and Prince William have not been “seen” together does not mean they have not emailed, IMd, phoned, or seen each other clandestinely, away from the prying eyes of the media. These papers will print anything just to get people to buy their editions. I think it is utter rubbish. These anonymous sources annoy me no end. A “close friend” of the couple would not comment to the press.
