Diana knew that his heart now belonged to Camilla and she accepted that. But something tells me, if Charles would have said that he wanted their marriage to work and Camilla was out of the picture, she would have returned to him. I see Charles & Camilla together today and you can tell that they are really happy together and one of the reasons for this is because Diana wanted him to move on. Towards the end of Diana's life, the bitterness of the past was dissolved and I'm happy about that.
