Chelsy Davy collapses at home
Longstanding love of Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy has been taken to hospital with acute appendicitis. She collapsed over breakfast at her home in Cape Town and was immediately rushed to the Christian Barnard Hospital for emergency surgery on Thursday.
Her mother tried to contact Prince Harry who is on Army exercises.
Chelsy is said to have attributed the agonizing pains to her recent holiday with the Prince in Botswana where she feared she may have picked up a tropical disease.
A friend told The Sun, “It was a very frightening day for her. She collapsed in agony just after breakfast and was suffering severe pains in her stomach. She had no idea what was wrong and was worried it may be linked to a tropical illness she may have picked up on her recent holiday with Harry to Botswana.”
The patient is reported to be under observation for a few days but making a speedy recovery.
Chelsy, 21, is due to enrol at Leeds University on September 17.

What drama for Chelsy
.
Anyway, John, have you seen that K&W are holidaying? It could be a clear indication that they are really together but I dont feel it like that. They are hiding press since months and it was said that the destination was secret. Things dont sound fantastic. If what the “friend” has said to the DailyMail is true, then it’s all negative for Kate. I thought they had to spend a week in Scotland without their friends.

Oh my God poor Chelsy!!! That’s horrible, she could’ve died if she hadn’t been taken to the hospital… I got appendicitis 2 yrs ago five days after new years…. I thought the pain I had was because I was waiting for my monthly visitor (sorry to mention that lol)… I had that pain for 5 days and then i drove myself to the hospital…. I got surgery that same night… the doctor told my parents that if I hadn’t gone to the hospital at that time I could’ve died… if the appendix explodes you can get a really REALLY bad infection.

In my youth, if the appendix broke, even during surgery, it was a sure death sentence because the purient matter would go all through the body cavity and infect all the internal organs. This particular operation is no walk in the garden, I assure you. I am very sorry that Chelsy has had this ordeal but I am relieved to know that she came through the surgery so well. Tonsils and the appendix are useless things that cause so much mischief!
