Kate Middleton May Head for Big Apple
Where next for Royal dumpee Kate Middleton? Will she spread her wings and fly farther and faster than a berth with the Royal Family would have allowed?
It seems so. There’s talk of an offer of PR consultancy work with New York designer Tom Ford.
Kate is said to have told her family thats she’s considering a “temporary” move to New York. Part of the reason is to escape the relentless exposure of media coverage in the UK.
The more intriguing explanation is that she’s exploring the resurrection of her former plans for an online children’s clothing business — something we suggested last week. A spell with a fashion house in the Big Apple would be invaluable for making those international contacts necessary for business success in the 21st century.
Although Kate is said not to consider herself a fashion geek, like all young women she keeps an eye on current trends.
If she makes the move, Kate will certainly take with her the Royal Anecdotes seal of approval. Go for it, gal.

Tom Ford… Bloody hell…

Is that good or bad, Lily?

It’s f*****g great!

It’s not a surprise that Americans want her.
She couldn’t work in Europ. She is too old fashioned for Italy, without any interest in France, and I don’t think she would like to work in UK, as she wears fur aswell.
Tom Ford is really great. Not a genius but better than that junkie white knickers Calvin Klein and better than “im the boring egghead” Marc Jacobs. Ford works for Estee Lauder aswell. I think it would be the section where Middleton could be employed? Do you imagine Liz Hurley and Middleton going together at Lauder parties? It would be too funny.

This new opportunity for the classy Kate, if true, is great. She’s more than welcome to States. I am sure we will love her for what she is and treasure her here. A great loss for UK, and a greate loss for Royal family and William. She’s the Queen of People’s Hearts and that is what matters in the 21st century.

Tom Ford is a splendid connection for Kate Middleton, there is no question about that! I think it would be good for her to be here in the USA, where the media can be controlled if they step out of line. John, apparently Sir Richard has decided to send Prince Harry to Iraq. I am, frankly, devastated. The young Prince will need all our prayers to return safely home, and I hope all of us will pray for his protection. It is pouring down rain here, and it suits my mood.

Good for Kate. There she can meet some nice, tall, dark haired guy that will erase William from her mind in warp speed. Hey Kate, there’s more to life than walking two steps behind some dithering, balding, pale Prince man child and his stodgy, dysfunctional family. I’m sorry to any royalists I offend but it’s the truth.

It might be too hard for her to stay in the UK and watch William date other women. Is the Tom Ford job serious, it still sounds speculative. She’s never really been away from her family for long, this would be a big step and a positive step for her after the break up news all around the world. She’s 25 so maybe she’s branching out discovering the world outside of University,William, Royals and Family. Oh well, a chapter has closed and a new one is beginning.

Mandy I could not agree with you more!! At 25 there is a whole range of possibilities open to her. I say go for it Kate!!!!

She should thank her lucky stars she’s free from that boy and his family. I’m glad for her.

And don’t be so sure one chapter has closed. Biggest joke on all of the haters if this split doesn’t last.

That is always a possibility, of course, Positive. I confess that I was not favorably impressed with Prince William’s behavior at Prince Harry’s Farewell Party. He arrived too late to hear the moving speech given by their cousin Peter Philips, and also managed to miss Prince Harry’s farewell remarks to his guests. Cuddled up with a brunette, Prince William stayed at the club later than anyone, drinking heavily. It does not sound to me as if he was there to support Prince Harry at all. More and more he resembles the Duke of Windsor, which, if this similarity continues, would sound the death knell for the Monarchy in Britain.

Gigi, 25 is a bit old to be rebellious. I’m down on this dude. He’s acting like an ass. I say it’s time to grow up and be a man. If he doesn’t want the cards he’s been dealt, then give em back and hit the road. Otherwise he needs to get over himself.
Don’t insult the Duke of Windsor. He gave it all up for his lady. Right or wrong.
