What a Spectacle — Prince William’s New Look

Prince William showed off his new intellectual look yesterday as he was pictured wearing a pair of designer spectacles while driving his black Audi saloon.
As he approaches his 25th birthday, and with a long-term girlfriend, Kate Middleton, it’s time the officer Prince settled down to a more mature and serious lifestyle. He certainly looks the part.
I wonder if he got them from his friend, Jamie Murray Wells, who runs the website, GlassesDirect.co.uk? Jamie has made a small fortune undercutting the big spec chains and started the business on his student grant in a disused stable block.
Let’s hope William gave the internet entrepreneur some Royal business. Will it now be : GlassesDirect.co.uk, by Appointment to His Royal Highness, the Prince William?
We shall see. So, we hope, will William in his glasses.

I take it that these glasses are a new thing. Has William had glasses before? 25 seems a strange time to all of a sudden need glasses. Younger or older is more common. As someone who has been wearing glasses everyday for almost 40 years, I think William’s glasses look fine.

They seem to be, Evelyn, especially for long distance as in driving. No doubt five years of studying has taken its toll. Maybe he wears contact lenses but had a bad-eye day.

This isn’t the first time William has been photographed wearing spectacles. Some monts ago there was an article about William wearing glasses during his Army training sessions. Apparently William has been wearing spectacles/contacts for year now to correct his short-sightedness.

Not to throw water on your confident statement about that journalist talking to the parliarmentary committee, but he said the obvious, John.
Edwards said, William told him he intends to marry!
I hate to say this, but dah!
Of course he intends to get married. So do 90% of humanity.
Edwards did not say William wants to get married to Kate!
Or did he?
Apparently, he didn’t say that.
Gosh, the press should get medals for stating and reiterating the obvious and then selling more papers by saying the same thing in other words. William himself said he will marry, so i find it odd that people should still be jumping up and down about something that’s already been said and is known.
Wait for him to say he will definitely get married to Kate.

I have to agree with Mary on this one….
