Prince Andrew’s Christmas Card
We published Prince Andrew’s Christmas card last year – that shows how old we are — so here’s the very different 2006 version :
Why, you may ask, is he wearing that exceptionally silly hat? No need to ask why his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, look so embarrassed.
Maybe he’s trying to attract the attention of Courtney Love.
Actually, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie look equally glum in the photo where Prince Andrew is bareheaded. I agree the turban looks a bit strange, even though they are in India where turbans are worn. I am surprised, however, that Prince Andrew’s daughters were not taught to smile and perform well for the public no matter what the situation, as all Royals are trained to do. Maybe it is a teenage case of the grumps.

the girls do look really down! too bad, since the few pictures i’ve seem of them smiling are so nice. cheer up, girls… your life can’t be that miserable!
