Has Chelsy Davy Been Asked to Live with Prince Harry?
Prince Harry is thought to have asked Chelsy Davy to come to Britain and move in with him.
Friends are saying that since Harry joined the army and reduced his wild social life he is missing her more and more. A source has been quoted as saying that he wants to “take their relationship to a new level”.
Reports say : “The news came as Harry flew 6000 miles to Cape Town to be at Chelsy’s side for her 21st birthday party after completing army training with his new regiment, the Blues and Royals. He is expected to join about 100 of the blonde heiress’s friends at the party.”
The source continues : “He is totally smitten with Chelsy and misses her terribly. He would love her to be closer so they could see each other more often.”
The situation is affected also by the news that Harry will not now be allowed to serve as a front line soldier because of his Royal status.
The UK Daily Mail comments : “Some Royal insiders claim the relationship is not regarded as favourably by the Queen and Prince Charles as Prince William’s with Kate Middleton. Miss Middleton has met the Queen, joined William and Prince Charles on their annual ski break, accompanied the Prince to the Duchess of Cornwall’s daughter Laura’s wedding and appeared on the Royal balcony at Cheltenham.”

This pic is hilarious! I know that they’re about to kiss, but Chelsy looks like she’s trying to mesmerize Harry and Harry looks as though he dosen’t look forward to what he’s about to do.

I know that nothing I said is relevant to the article, but isn’t it more interesting?

When did Kate appear in the royal balcony at Cheltenham?

When she wore the fur hat and looked like a Russian princess.

I still think HM and the POW should really get to know Chelsy after all you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, and if Harry loves her that should be enough. although I like Kate she may dress and act the part but then so did Diana and no one apprieciated her. Everyone thought they could walk all over her but she was alot smarter than she was given credit for.

Chelsy’s cover is very nice. I don’t understand why people say she is not a good choice and Kate is…Kate’s the one who wore underwear on the runway at school and lived with William and another guy. Chelsy is quite pretty. Her father’s activities are what people may have the real problem with. She is a really rich heiress, a University student who gets spectacular grades, seems to have a life of her own. If she moves to the UK and becomes like “you know who” just waiting for her Prince-boyfriend to have free time, It will be disappointing.

You left off the last part of the article…
“But insiders say the reason Chelsy does not has such a prominent role is the fact that she lives so far away.”

Just where does it say Chelsy does not have a prominent role because she loves so far away? the last part of the article says” ” Kate has met the Queen, joined the royal ski parties and attended Laura Parker Bowles Wedding and stood on a balcony.” Well Chelsy spent most of the summer in England and HM made no attempt to meet her. Perhaps if she did she just might warm to this beautiful young woman who is not only smart but a class act.

It seems Harry has been making lots of secret visits to Cape Town, sometimes just to spend the night. He must be keen.

It says it in the Evening Standard Article… Harry Wants Chelsy To Live With Him by Robert Jobson, Oct. 13th 2006.

I reviewed Jobson’s book William’s Princess here a few weeks ago. Some of these stories cross over each other, so you’re often looking at out of date information.

How do we know Kate has met the Queen? Kate was only invited on the royal balcony after being hounded by the papparazzi and asked a friend to let her into the royal balcony. What a cunning girl, knowing full well the papparazzi were going to be there!

Also Chelsy prefers to be alone with Hary unlike Kate who prefers to make a public appearance at every polo match, event because Kate loves being in the spotlight.
I would say that Chelsy is more private.
Both girls have stayed at the Clarence House, haven’t met the Queen because both princes are not ready to marry.

I agree Lucy… but if she was so “hounded” than why was she standing there posing and smiling away? She is just a little hypocrit who secretly LOVES the attention she is getting.
Let’s hope she is the passing phase and that William grows a pair!

With all of the changes William is making in his life, I agree with the “press” that a Royal wedding will happen. However, if he does come to feel that Kate was just a passing phase, I hope that he will not “dump” her.
The only reason I wish Kate had a job is so that she could be independent should William leave her. Where she’s at right now, it will hurt her very badly if she and William break up.
In what way do you think she is a hypocrite?
By Jane on October 20th, 2006 at 9:01 pm
If you hope he does not “dump” her if William thinks of her only as a passing phase, than what else would he do?
By varya on October 26th, 2006 at 11:10 pm
Maybe he’d take Chelsy off Harry’s hands and he would turn to Kate for comfort.
By John on October 27th, 2006 at 8:09 am
By “dump”, I mean leave her hanging, getting out quick, pulling all the stops, etc… Since they have been in a long (and public) relationship leaving her high and dry would be cruel. I would hope to see William maturely break up by telling her the truth, and that each would slowly go their own way, still as friends.
Obviously the press will have a field day if they ever break up and the last thing that either of them would need is hostility towards each other. Which, no doubt, Kate would have if William left her quickly and with little explanation as to why.
Hope that clears things up for you…
And you never answered my question. In what way do you think Kate is a hypocrite?
