The Queen has apparently ruled that the Duchess of Cornwall will not be included by name in the state prayers that are said for the Royal Family in Church of England churches.
The prayer in question reads : “Almighty God, the fountain of all goodness, we humbly beseech thee to bless Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Charles, Prince of Wales, and all the Royal Family.”
Diana, Princess of Wales was named in it after she married the Prince of Wales, but her name was removed after their divorce.
According to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, “Royal sources said the omission should not be seen as a snub. They indicated that the Queen might have been showing sensitivity towards those unhappy with the remarriage.”

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla) have put the emphasis on their new joint family in their Christmas card this year.
In their first joint card, they have chosen an official photograph taken in the White Drawing Room at Windsor Castle on their wedding day.
In keeping with royal tradition, the couple have chosen to highlight a family event to mark the festive season, and this design clearly commemorates the most momentous change to both their personal lives.
